Hi-Strength Shuttering Coil Tie Bar
Description:
OCM Hi-Strength Shuttering Coil Tie Bar is manufactured with continuous thread from high strength cold rolled steel. Coil Tie Bar is self cleaning and ideal for dirty job sites or for use in concrete formwork and shuttering applications.
Features:
- Available in several diameters up to 1 1/2"
- Comes in 12ft lengths, but coupler are available for longer lengths
- Can be easily field cut with a carborundum blade or bolt cutters
- Requires 2 Standard Coil Nuts or 1 Tall Coil Nut to develop Ultimate Load
- 1/2" diameter is made from C1035, C1038, or C1045 steel
- 5/8" and 3/4" diameter is made from C1035 or C1045 steel
- 7/8", 1", 1-1/4", and 1-1/2" are made from C1045 steel
