Pencil Rod

Description

Pencil Rod is a mild steel smooth rod. It is available in coils of approximately 600 feet (100lb. coils) or straightened and cut to length. Pencil Rod is used effectively on all types of forming requirements. Safe Working Load is 1,250 lbs for ¼” diameter pencil rod, 2,250 lbs for 3/8” diameter pencil rod, and 3,750 lbs for 1/2" diameter pencil rod based on 2:1 safety factor.
